(“Homi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides our home maintenance membership services (described below) and related content to you through our website(s) located at [www.HiHomi.com] (the “Site”) and through our mobile applications and related technologies (“Mobile Apps,” and collectively, such Mobile Apps and the Site, including any updated or new features, functionality, and technology, the “Service”). All access to and use of the Service is subject to the terms and conditions contained in these Terms of Service (as amended from time to time, these “Terms of Service”).

By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Site, Mobile Apps, or any other aspect of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these Terms of Service, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change or modify portions of these Terms of Service at any time. If we do this, we will post the changes on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the date these Terms of Service were last revised. You may read a current, effective copy of these Terms of Service by visiting the “Terms of Service” link on the Site. We will also notify you of any material changes, either through the Service user interface, a pop-up notice, email, or other reasonable means.

When using certain features of the Service, you may be subject to additional terms and conditions applicable to such features, which may be posted on or within the Service from time to time. All such terms are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service.

Access and Use of the Service

Service Description
 

The Service is designed to provide homeowners with scheduled and on-demand handyman support through a membership model. This includes basic home maintenance, minor repairs, seasonal services, and support for home improvement tasks. All services are delivered by trained Homi employees or independent contractors (“Handypeople”) managed directly by Homi. Specific services offered and not offered will be described on the Site and within your membership agreement.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that all information you provide during registration is accurate and complete. You agree to update your information to keep it accurate and complete.

Account Registration
You may be required to register with Homi to access certain features of the Service. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information as requested and to maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

Modifications to the Service
Homi reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. You agree that Homi shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

Usage Limits and Storage
You acknowledge that Homi may establish general practices and limits concerning the use of the Service, such as limits on storage or data retention. Homi may delete user data following prolonged account inactivity or other events defined in our Privacy Policy. You agree that Homi has no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any data or content maintained or uploaded by the Service.

Mobile Services and App Distribution

The Service may include features accessible via mobile devices (“Mobile Services”), including the ability to schedule appointments, track usage, and communicate with the Homi team. Standard charges, data rates, and other fees may apply.

If you download our mobile application through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party platforms (“App Platforms”), your use of the application is also governed by those platforms' terms of service and privacy policies.

 

You acknowledge that:

• Apple and Google are not responsible for support, maintenance, or liability related to our mobile application.
   

• You must comply with the usage rules provided by the App Platform.
   

• Homi Home Service, Inc. is solely responsible for the mobile application and its content.
   

Homi grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the mobile app on a device you own or control for personal use in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our software or mobile app.

Conditions of Use and User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Service or help anyone else do so.

This includes:

• Violating any applicable law or regulation.
   

• Infringing the rights of others.
   

• Transmitting anything that is illegal, abusive, harassing, harmful to reputation, pornographic, indecent, profane, obscene, hateful, racist, or otherwise objectionable.
   

• Using the Service to send unauthorized advertising or spam.
   

• Accessing or tampering with Homi systems or those of our providers.
   

• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service.
   

Competitor Access Prohibited
Competitors are not permitted to access the Service for any competitive purpose, including benchmarking, or to develop a competing product or service.

Fees, Billing, and Payment

Access to Homi's Service requires a paid membership. You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes associated with your membership.

​

• Memberships are billed either monthly or annually.
   

• Unless canceled in advance, your membership will auto-renew.
   

• You authorize Homi to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis.
   

All payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). By using the Service, you also agree to their terms and conditions.

You may cancel your membership at any time. No refunds will be provided for unused service hours, except as required by law.

Intellectual Property and Ownership

All content and materials available through the Service, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and data, are the property of Homi or its licensors. These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, or use any of our content without our prior written consent.

​

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

You agree that any disputes between you and Homi will be resolved by binding arbitration, and you waive your right to participate in class actions or jury trials.

Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in a mutually agreed location. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court.

You agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally before initiating arbitration by contacting us at support@hihomi.com.

Termination

Homi may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access or use the Service will immediately cease.

​

You may also choose to discontinue use of the Service at any time. Termination does not relieve you of any payment obligations accrued prior to the termination date.

General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Homi regarding your use of the Service. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
