Introduction

This Service Coverage Policy (“Policy”) outlines the services provided by Homi Home Services, Inc. (“Homi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), which may include routine home maintenance, seasonal upkeep, and minor repairs through our membership-based handyman program. This Policy is part of our Terms of Service, available at www.hihomi.com/terms.

We may update this Policy periodically. Changes will become effective thirty (30) days after posting unless updates are required for legal compliance—in which case, they are effective immediately upon posting.

Your Homi membership includes a curated range of maintenance services designed to keep your home running smoothly. Some services, particularly those requiring specialty labor or materials (e.g., complex electrical work or extensive plumbing), may require an additional fee or third-party referral. There is never an obligation to purchase any specialty services.

 

 

Included Maintenance Services

As a Homi member, you’ll receive scheduled home visits from your dedicated handyman. These visits include property checkups, punch list walkthroughs, and execution of minor repairs and maintenance items.

Typical maintenance inspections may include:

  • HVAC and appliance filter checks
     

  • Water filter inspection
     

  • Smoke and CO detector checks
     

  • Electrical and outlet checkups
     

  • Plumbing inspections (faucets, drains, minor leaks)
     

  • Gutter inspection (visual and safety check)
     

  • Door, window, and exterior sealing checks
     

  • Dryer vent and bathroom fan inspections
     

Note: Consumables such as air/water filters, light bulbs, batteries, caulking, and cleaning supplies will be billed separately.

Service timing and availability will be shown in the Homi app or member portal. Services are subject to change based on member feedback and seasonal needs.

 

 

Handyman Services

As a member, you have access to your assigned neighborhood handyman. You may message them through the Homi app or portal and expect a response within 24 hours. For urgent matters, call us directly at (707) 723-1488.

Most lightweight handyman tasks are included in your membership. For complex work, custom quotes may be provided. Materials can be customer-supplied or provided by Homi (at an added cost).

Included handyman tasks may include:

  • Replacing light switches, outlets, or hardware
     

  • Installing smart locks, doorbells, thermostats
     

  • Hanging art, shelves, and mirrors
     

  • Weather stripping and door seal replacement
     

  • TV mounting (up to 65”; larger units may require assistance)
     

  • Drywall patching and light painting
     

  • Furniture assembly
     

  • Basic smart home and network setup
     

 

 

Optional & Seasonal Services

The following services may be available in select areas. Some are included in membership, while others may involve additional labor or materials charges:

  • Holiday light setup and removal
     

  • Gutter cleaning (twice per year)
     

  • Donation or recycling pickup
     

  • Cardboard breakdown and disposal
     

  • Garbage bin cleaning
     

  • Deep cleaning (carpet, tile, bathroom)
     

  • Window washing
     

  • Pest control
     

  • Document shredding
