Estate management is ongoing oversight and coordination of property care, including maintenance planning, scheduled checks, service provider coordination and homeowner communication.
How is estate management different from maintenance?
Maintenance handles particular upkeep or repairs. Estate management helps organize the broader schedule, providers and responsibilities involved in caring for a property.
Do I need to live at the property full-time?
No. Scheduled care can be particularly valuable for second homes or properties that remain unoccupied for extended periods.
Can Homi coordinate my existing contractors?
Coordination with your existing providers can be discussed and included in an agreed estate management scope.
Does Homi provide emergency response?
Homi does not offer guaranteed 24/7 emergency service. Your plan can establish contact and escalation procedures with appropriate providers.
How much does it cost?
Estate management is quoted individually based on property complexity, location, service frequency and agreed responsibilities. It is separate from Homi's standard maintenance membership.
Where is estate management available?
Homi considers inquiries from Sonoma County, Napa County, Marin County, San Francisco and selected Peninsula communities. Property eligibility depends on address, scope and provider availability. Review Homi service areas or contact our team to confirm.
